A warm cup fills you with courage, shrinking fears and growing hope inside your chest. Drinking deep, you feel stronger, ready to face the next step. You may finish the cup yourself, savoring its strength, or pour some courage out to share with someone who needs it too.

House of Returning Light
There was a time
the house inside me
had every curtain closed.
I walked on tiptoe
past my own feelings,
afraid to make a sound.
Now, one by one,
I open windows.
I let in air
that does not smell of fear,
light that does not ask permission.
My hands still shake sometimes,
but look closely:
they are also building.
A mug I chose myself.
A plant reaching for the sun.
A key that only fits
my side of the door.
I am not what was done to me.
I am what I do
with my next breath.
Today,
I breathe like someone
who knows they deserve
to take up space.
