A creative programme rooted in nature, wellbeing and expression
Artful Nature brings people together through poetry, story, observation, movement, making and shared time in relation to the natural world. It creates space for reflection, creativity, confidence-building and emotional renewal.
Rooted in attentiveness, imagination and sensory experience, the programme invites participants to notice more deeply, express more freely and connect more meaningfully with place, season and self.
Artful Nature can be shaped for nurseries, schools, families, community groups, adults, elders, cultural organisations and wellbeing settings, with delivery adapted to age, context and pace.

Wellbeing Strand
Artful Nature – Shinrin-yoku
Forest-bathing-inspired writing sessions and poetry walks weave together landscape, wellbeing, visual art and poetry. These experiences offer a slower, more attentive way of being with the natural world, using movement, observation and language to support calm, imagination and emotional restoration.
This strand is well suited to groups seeking reflective, restorative and meaningful creative engagement. It can support wellbeing programmes, creative retreats, school enrichment, adult community work and older people’s sessions where pace, presence and gentle connection matter.
Sessions can be offered as guided poetry walks, mindful observation workshops, reflective writing circles, visual journalling, or paired art-and-word experiences shaped by season and setting.
Good fit for: schools, family programmes, community wellbeing offers, arts and health activity, reflective adult groups, intergenerational sessions and creative ageing work.
Where Artful Nature can happen
Artful Nature can be adapted for a wide range of spaces and settings, always shaped around the people involved and the atmosphere needed.
This flexibility allows the programme to support learning, wellbeing, participation and creative connection in ways that feel grounded, accessible and memorable.
