Friends link arms like a shield, holding strong to protect each other from harm. This shield can grow stronger as more join inside, and you may choose to strengthen it yourself or open it wider to welcome new friends seeking safety and support.

Not Broken, Rearranged
They said I was broken.
For a while,
I believed them.
But broken things
do not grow new roots.
Broken things
do not learn new languages
for their own hope.
I am not broken.
I am rearranged.
Pieces of me
I was told to hide
are now mosaics on my walls.
Scars that once whispered “shame”
now spell out “survivor”
in a script I am still learning to love.
If you see cracks in me,
know this:
they are places
where the light insisted
on coming in.
Stand close.
You might find
the light fits your hands too.
